Garden + Winter Storm

I gave up my garden for a few days. I mean, all that work and "zap", it's gone.

Then I gathered my strength and decided I wasn't going to let the deer have their way. So I replanted.

I didn't measure, I didn't give it much love, I just shoved those babies in and covered them up!

Then I pulled out my trusty little fencing, draped it over the top, secured the sides, and walked away!

That was two days ago and I still have my little garden!

And what do we have going for today?

A snow storm to arrive this afternoon. And what is it bringing? Oh, about a foot of snow!

And how is your garden growing?

Oh, I went out and counted 10 Iris buds poking their little heads up, getting ready to open. Just like last year, they came on a little to soon. We are talking snow here tomorrow or Sunday. And of course a frost. I wish I had something to cover them with, but there is just to many. I am praying that the snow will just be talk and none of the white stuff falls.

Its pretty as long as I don't have to get out in it. And believe me, I do not drive in it.

Have a great day.

Hi Darlene, Thanks for your prayers, visits and encouragements. I have been very fatigue, learning to pace myself and looking to God daily. Missed you and many blogging friends. Take care and have a blessed weekend.
