Crafty Bloggers

So many of my favorite bloggers are quite crafty. They are always coming up with something new........or something old.

Many of the items I would never attempt.......at least not yet.

But....

There is one item I've decided to try my hand at.

Home made laundry soap.

It sounds so easy, so few ingredients, and its cheap.

I've got the ingredients and then I realized.......I don't have an old pot to put it in.
I certainly don't want to go buy a new pot, nor do I want to use any of my cooking pots since I use all of them in the winter time.

I think it's time to check out the Goodwill and Salvation Army......perhaps Big Lots have some cheap pots.

I'll check out the garage sales as I roll along, surely someone has some super cheap pots to make soap in.

I tell ya, this is going to be some fun :)

I did that one time. Saved the bacon grease, you know you should not eat it, so I decided to make soap.
Turned out real well as I remember. Good luck.

When you find a goodwill pot, I hope that you'll show us how to make the soap!

Hey Darlene - an old enamel pot will work or a stainless steel one. Just don't use aluminum. I've even used a 5 gallon bucket before. You will love this soap once your start using it!!
