Angel Food
Angel Food Ministries just posted their January menu. My goodness, it just keeps getting better and better.
A while back Angel Food changed their requirements so now the "Specials" can be purchased alone. No need to buy the Signature Box if you are just wanting one or more of the specials. There are no limits on any of the offerings. (Don't forget, if you eat then you qualify :) AND Food Stamps (EBT) accepted here!
In addition to the Signature Box is the Senior Convenience Box which, in reality, is good for everyone. Looking for a nutritious quick meal, here it is. Heat and serve.
Ten meals plus dessert plus fruit plus drink.
Angel Food has lowered their price on the Allergen Free Food Box. Certainly worth looking at.
And the Seafood Pack! Love seafood?
And Specials galore!

It's that time of the month and Angel Food Ministries has posted their August menu. Something new added this month.......specials can now be purchased with or without purchasing one of the main menu boxes. Quite a few people were wanting to order just the specials so this is a good thing :)

Angel Food Ministries
Angel Food Ministries has posted their April menu with several additions.
The main menu now has four food boxes to choose from:
Signature, Senior Convenience, Allergen-free and Seafood!
There are now seven special boxes and the fruit and veg boxes have increased in size!
And last but not least, Angel Food Ministries accepts Food Stamps (EBT).
The menu has increased so much that I don't try to put it here. So click on over and see for yourself!

Angel Food
Angel Food Ministries has the June menu available. I’ll post it here so you can see immediately if this would be helpful to your family or not.
Angel Food Ministries accepts cash, food stamps and money orders .
Three specials are available with the purchase of the Menu. If you are wanting the specials without purchasing the Menu just add your order with that of someone you know. I’ve had family members who wanted some of the specials but not the Menu so I just added those items to mine and vice versa.
You may order as many Menus and specials as you want. There are no limitations except a minimum of one Menu must be purchased.

I picked up the May Menu for Angel Food Ministries and had to share this with you.

I randomly picked different states to see if the menu changed and it appears that all states have the same menu, just different pick-up sites. Just don't quote me on that :)

I picked up extra menus and handed them out to my neighbors....some had heard of Angel Food Ministries but had no idea where to find them. Now they do and they are passing the word out to their co-workers, family and friends. I love the look on their faces when they see all this info!

Sunday
I noticed that it has been a while since I posted. Time has certainly gotten away from me.
I've been busy with errands and just taking care of business. Busy, busy, busy, and getting no where LOL :)
Today I was able to attend a church that I have been interested in. The weather has prevented me from going sooner. This winter I just have not been able to tolerate the cold as I have in the past so I do the logical thing.......I say inside :)
A table in the lobby of the church is laid out with information of all types. I picked up a newsletter entitled "SHARE".
It's similar to Angel Food Ministries and is available in the states of Colorado, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming and New Mexico.
Unlike Angel Food Ministries, Share accepts Checks, Visa, Mastercard and electronic food stamp cards.
There are three ways to order........your local host site, online or by phone (toll free). You can order Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm, by phone or go online anytime.
The newsletter includes a meal planner using the grocery items from Share. Share packages also includes a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables while Angel Food Ministries does not. If it's economical I'll be using both :)

Angel Food.....you're thinking Angel Food Cake, right?
How about Angel Food Ministries?
Jackie told me about them today and naturally I have to pass the info on to you.
Angel Food Ministries is for everyone. There are sites all over the United States. In my little corner of the world there are ten outlets.
Angel Food Ministries "Serves Neighbors One Box At A Time". They offer a box of groceries for $30. You can add to for an additional $20 or $18 depending on what you want. The menu changes each month so you will get a variety. These are not seconds, nor are they dented cans.
Angel Food Ministries is a "non-profit, non-denominational organization, began in 1994 as a small outreach ministry serving a rural community in Georgia. The goal was to help neighbors who needed a hand up in a tough economic time. Today, Angel Food Ministries can be found in over 3,200 communities in 35 states and helps feed over 500,000 families a month".
If your church or organization would like to become involved in this worthwhile project just go to their site.
The rest of us can go there to find our local distribution site and sign up for delivery in March.
