White Christmas

It’s a white Christmas for everyone on Stover Lane. Four inches to be exact and beautiful. It’s also very, very quiet.

Last night I let Brownie out around eleven and what did I see when I opened my door? Five deer not five feet from my front door. There’s just something about being that close to wild life. So Brownie and I just looked at the beauty of it all for about a minute then off they ran. (Sorry guys, nothing for you, you ate it all five months ago)

We’ll be celebrating Christmas with Charlie and the boys tonight as they will be off to the other grandparents on Christmas.

In case I don’t see you tomorrow, have a very Merry Christmas and

May God bless you beyond measure!

Well, so far we are having a sunny Christmas Eve. It is real pleasant outside. The house is a ripping mess, the kids have gone to a movie and I am finishing up laundry. Then I will bake corn bread and get the dressing ready for tomorrow. Denise called a few minutes ago and we are going to Kari and Joe's building at 111 Lamar for dinner tomorrow. So now I won't have to worry about getting the house in order for tomorrow.

It won't be a Mama's, but it will be so much roomier. :)

Have a great time tonight and tell Charlie and the children hello from Texas.

Thanks for stopping by and the red velvet cake was wonderful. A major hit.

It was in the mid 50s and I don't miss the cold Chicago Christmas at all.

How lucky you are to have had a white Christmas. The snow just make everything even more beautiful. We had a little dusting of snow on Christmas Day with more predicted for tomorrow.

Hugs,
Kay
