Time Flies

Time flies when you're having fun! I've been busy downsizing, busy helping Tricia downsize, busy with laundry (the laundry fairy is still on strike:( ....busy, busy, busy, lol.

My neighbor, bless her heart, has started a bible study group on Wednesdays. Through this I met a neighbor who teaches painting at the community center on Thursdays. She assures me everyone can learn but when it comes to me I do have my doubts, lol. I noticed the community center also has ceramic classes which I dearly love. When the twins were babies I started ceramic classes.....I still have some of the pieces I made, two tankards, a soup tureen, flower pots... wow, I just realized how old they are!

The twins had just started crawling when I made a large ceramic cat. I had just put the finishing touches on it and needed a place to put it so it wouldn't get broke while I cleaned up. For some reason I thought the couch would be safe....they couldn't possibly get to it.....it should be safe for a couple of minutes.....wouldn't you think?

I still don't know how they were able to get to that cat. It lasted ten seconds, at the most. That was my shortest lived project and the above are my longest. This brings us to my most recent ceramic needs....a container for my kitchen utensils. I've been looking for quite some time and can find nothing that will do. BUT I could make one that fits my specifications. I'll have to check into that Thursday....this could be fun!

Have a blessed day, my friends :)
